Kinara was established 20 years ago and welcomes new members from Kings Hill and the surrounding areas. It provides an enjoyable social environment with a range of activities, events, day trips, holidays, etc.
MONTHLY MEETINGS – held in the Kings Hill Community Centre, providing an opportunity to meet new friends, sign-up for events and to listen to interesting speakers. Recent talks have included the antiques business, the murder of Alexander Litvinenko and the exploits of a royal protection officer.
DAY TRIPS – we have enjoyed some recent trips to Greenwich/Cutty Sark, Houses of Parliament, Broadstairs/Thanet Catering College, Sheffield Park, a Suffolk river cruise.
ANNUAL HOLIDAY – we have been in the past few years to Cheshire, Bruges, Durham, York and Potters in Norfolk.
SOCIAL EVENTS – regular fun quizzes, breakfast clubs, party nights, beetle drives and Christmas lunch at a local venue.
REGULAR ACTIVITIES – these include indoor short mat bowls, art and craft groups, petanque and walk & pub lunch
