Changeling Theatre is a professional touring theatre company serving audiences across the South East.
Best known for their hugely successful open air tour every summer, they have staged Shakespeare’s most popular plays in locations such as castles, gardens, vineyards and beaches.
This summer, Changeling Theatre celebrate 25 years of outdoor touring with a glamorous and gothic version of Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing. Bold, sexy, and unapologetically fun, Much Ado is the perfect summer play.
The outdoor tour starts and finishes with performances at Boughton Monchelsea Place and tours venues around Kent, including Riverhill Himalyan Gardens, Great Comp Garden, Calverley Grounds, Tonbridge Castle, Sutton Valence School and Elmscroft House at West Farleigh.
All proceeds from the performance at Allington Castle, Maidstone will go to support RBVE’s work. Set beside the River Medway and surrounded by beautiful historic gardens, the castle provides a spectacular backdrop. The castle is not normally open to the public, so this is a rare opportunity to experience this remarkable setting.
Bring your own rugs/chairs and warm layers for these outdoor performances.
